Cody Ace's AC Conversion Brackets Version 4.0 for SR20 Engines
These kits allow you to utilize your DOHC KA compressor with your SR20 bracket and tensioner in order to have an operable AC system. Why mess around with leaky lines, trying to have new ends welded on, and then relying on a JDM compressor with no domestic replacement? Using my brackets allows the use of the USDM compressor (which can be found anywhere). It also enables you to install an SR20 without ever needing to dischrage the system! No need for a recharge here!
Below are 4 separate galleries featuring the 4 different AC combinations in our S chassis car. The chassis part is specific to the compressor, so that is vital to determine which base kit to use. Knowing what SR20 motor type is also important. With that said however, the kits are interchangeable, so long as you know where your compressor and bracket were from. In essence, you can use an S13 compressor in an s14 car, so long as you know what SR20 bracket you have. Line location is the same.
I DO NOT support SOHC KA compressors with my kits (sorry guys). It would require way to intricate of a design to be cost efficient. All is not lost however, as you can convert your SOHC S13 engine bay to DOHC S13 engine bay in regard to lines, condensor and drier - it is a direct swap.
